Create A New Regatta

To create a new regatta in Regatta Workbench:

1. Select File, New, Import from Regatta Central, then Next
2. Log in to Regatat Central with your regular RC password
3. Select your regatta and click Import
4. Once the import completes, click Next
5. On the Regatta Configuration page, review the various options.  Chances are good you will be doing this all over again, so don't agonize over the choices on the first pass.  Also, they are all changelable within Regatta Workbench.
6. Click Next and review the Venue and Race Course options.  Change the Length to your race distance to avoid an error message in RW.
7. Click Next and review the Import Regatta Logo page.  No need to change anything unless you want to use your own logo.
8. Click Next and review the Create abbreviations for organizations page.  In general, you don't want to change these abbreviations now, as they will revert back to the RC defaults if you Sync the regatta later.
9. Click Next and go to the Creat Stages and Races page.  Select All and click Finish.
10. Save the file to your regatta directory.
